Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy lived in a pond with many other animals. Timmy loved to swim, but he was very shy and scared of trying new things. One sunny day, Timmy saw some frogs hopping and playing near the pond. The frogs were jumping from one rock to another. It looked like so much fun! Timmy wanted to join them but felt too scared. A kind frog named Freddy saw Timmy watching. "Hello, Timmy," said Freddy. "Do you want to play with us?" "I do," said Timmy, "but I am scared. I have never jumped from rock to rock before." Freddy smiled and said, "It's okay to be scared. We can practice together. I will help you." Timmy felt a little better. He decided to try. Freddy showed Timmy how to jump from one rock to the next. Timmy was very careful and made a small jump. He wobbled a bit but landed safely. "Great job, Timmy!" cheered Freddy. "Now, let's try another jump." Timmy tried again. Each jump made him feel braver. Soon, Timmy was jumping from rock to rock just like the frogs. He was having so much fun! By the end of the day, Timmy felt very proud. He had tried something new and discovered it wasn't so scary after all. Timmy thanked Freddy for his help. From that day on, Timmy was no longer afraid to try new things. He learned that being brave means trying even when you feel scared. Lesson: Being brave means trying new things, even when you feel scared.

Ant agreed to help Alligator. She climbed onto a leaf and paddled to the apple, using her tiny legs like oars. With her teamwork and bravery, they retrieved the apple. Alligator took a big bite of the apple, and it was delicious! He thanked Ant for her help and decided to learn to swim, so he wouldn't have to rely on others in the future. Alligator and Ant became the best of friends, and they had many more exciting adventures together, both on land and in the water.

It is a story about Max the Monkey! Max loves to play outside with his friends in the jungle. He swings from trees, chases butterflies, and has the best adventures. But one day, Max started to feel yucky. He had a runny nose and a sore throat. He didn't feel like playing anymore and just wanted to rest. His mom took care of him, but Max wondered, What happened to him? A wise old owl came to visit Max.Max explained how he was feeling, and the owl listened carefully. The owl explained, "Germs are tiny bugs that can make us sick. They're too small to see, but they're everywhere! They can be on doorknobs, toys, and even on our hands." Max's eyes widened with surprise. The owl continued, "Germs can spread when we touch things that have germs on them, like doorknobs or toys, and then touch our faces." Max thought about all the things he touched before getting sick. But the owl had good news: "There's a magic way to keep germs away: washing our hands with soap and water!" Max was curious about this magic. Max went to the sink and washed his hands with soap and water. He rubbed his hands together to make lots of bubbles and rinsed them thoroughly. After washing, Max felt cleaner and fresher. As the days passed, Max started to feel better. He was strong and healthy again, thanks to washing his hands regularly. Max was happy to play outside with his friends once more.

Mom sensed Janice's concern and led her into the master bedroom. She had Janice sit at her vanity, facing away from the mirror. Mom then applied a little foundation and powder to Janice's face and some pink lipstick to Janice's lips, saying that a girl of twelve doesn't need to use much makeup. She then went to her closet and removed a box. When she opened it, Janice saw that it contained a nicely styled wig. Additionally, the color matched her hair exactly. They told her how nice she looked as Janice smiled broadly. The girls spent the rest of the evening in he family room, welcoming their new sister and showing her how to do things like a girl. Janice changed into a pink waltz-length nightgown. Megan showed her how to remove her makeup and properly cleanse her face. Mom insisted that they needed to get some sleep and that they had the entire week to get know with their new sister. For Janice, sleep came easily, despite her excitement and newfound identity. She dreamed of being Mom's Christmas elf and wearing a green satin dress just like her sisters. She awoke the next morning happy and eager to face the day. The week went by quickly for the girls. Megan was Janice's primary teacher during the week but Lindsay and Kerry also helped. Janice was enjoying new persona, her sisters were enjoying having her with them. Before anyone realized it, it was Christmas Eve. Mom laid out Kerrie's and Lindsay's dresses, shoes, stockings and underwear for the next morning. Megan laid out her things without Mom's help. She and Mom came into Janice's room, Janice watched as Mom hung a lovely green satin dress trim with white fur on the door. Megan lay out a satin training bra, satin panties, garter belt, white stockings, white heels. She smiled at Janice saying both of them would be wearing their first pair of heels tomorrow.
