The book is about two young children, a 7 year old girl named Saharah and a 5 year old boy named Zyon, traveling different countries of the world. each page shows them visiting a different country, visiting famous landmarks and trying local foods. The story starts with them in bed being read a bedtime story by their father who has sholder length dread locs in his hair, where he talks about lots of fun places around the world he'd like to visit. As they fall asleep and start to dream that is when the adventure begins. They visit Egypt, Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Dominica, Haiti, Portugal, Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Fiji. The last page is them waking up for their dream excited about the magical adventures they had just had.

Il était une fois une femme nommée Mélanie. Elle cherchait l’amour, un amour doux et sincère. Mélanie était infirmière et passait ses journées à prendre soin des gens avec tendresse. Mais au fond d’elle, elle rêvait de rencontrer quelqu’un avec qui partager ses joies et ses sourires. Un jour, elle fit la rencontre de Jessica. Jessica aussi était infirmière, avec un grand cœur rempli de gentillesse. Elles commencèrent à parler, d’abord de leur travail, puis de leurs rêves, de leurs souvenirs et même de leurs plats préférés. Au fil des jours, Mélanie et Jessica devinrent inséparables. Elles aimaient rire ensemble, se soutenir et se réconforter après les longues journées à l’hôpital. Très vite, elles comprirent qu’elles étaient tombées amoureuses l’une de l’autre. Leur amour était comme une belle fleur qui grandissait chaque jour un peu plus, grâce à la confiance, la tendresse et la joie qu’elles partageaient. Mélanie et Jessica prirent soin l’une de l’autre, tout comme elles prenaient soin de leurs patients. Elles étaient heureuses, car elles avaient trouvé l’amour qu’elles cherchaient, et ensemble, elles étaient prêtes à vivre de merveilleuses aventures. Gabby is 7 years old, she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus erythematosus and i want to write a childrens book trying to explain the disease to her in simple terms, how the disease works and what are the triggers so she can avoid them but explain it in terms of a kid at 7 years of age would understand, her triggers are usually the sun, infections and stress, her symptoms are usually pain in her tummy, blood clots and bruising in her hands and feet, recently she had a chest infection that got really bad she had to be in ICU where the doctors had to "turn off" her immune system because it was attacking her heart, kidneys, lungs and brain, she had to be sedated (like sleeping beauty) so she can be intibated and treated with steroids and antibiotics, the story should be like an adventure and not scary, she can be a detective in the story trying to get to know her disease and this is part 1

Emma lives in Scarborough with her single mother. They live in an apartment building. Her mom does 2 jobs to make ends meet, however with high rent and cost of living, theyhardly have enough money for food. So one day, along with her mom, Emma goes to the local foodbank that is run by Feed Scarborough. At the foodbank, while Emma was waiting in one corner reading some fun books, while her mom was shopping at the foodbank, Emma saw a racoon walking around, playing with an apple. Emma started talking with the Racoon. Racoon told Emma that his name is Dignity, and the apple is his friend, named Hope. Dignity told emma all about food insecurity in our community and that she is not the only one who comes to the foodbank. Feed Scarborough's foodbanks are set up like a grocery store, so her mom can pick and choose the food that Emma likes. Dignity also told Emma about so many children, who are not having enough food to eat nowadays as times are tough. Dignity told Emma that better days are coming soon as Toronto's Mayor and Canada's Prime Minister is working together to have better food in school so no children need to study in empty stomach. As dignity was telling Emma these stories, suddenly Emma heard her Mom's voice, calling out to her. As she turned towards the door, she saw her mom asking her to come with her so they can leave the foodbank. As Emma turned back, Dignity and Hope was nowhere to be seen. Was Dignity and Hope real? Were they really there telling Emma the story or were they franction of her imagination, as on the wall, there was a poster of Dignity and Hope (which are the mascots of Feed Scarborough.
