My name is Aqma, and I don’t think my name is cool. Why did I have to be named Aqma? Wouldn’t Leo or Max sound much better? Today is my first day of school, and I’m so nervous. Vasi did a trick where flowers started shooting out of the wand. Vasi then placed the wand on John Jr's blue shirt and then changed the shirt to green. John Jr was very impressed. 4. John Jr and Vasi went on a hike at the park. Vasi told John Jr the types of trees and flowers that they saw. Vasi showed John Jr a shortcut back to the playground. 5. John Jr played on the teeter toter together and then played on the slide. They had a blast together and became best friends. 6. Vasi seemed very wise and taught John Jr some safety tips while playing. It was dinner time and John Jr invited Vasi to join him. Vasi accepted John Jr invitation and they walked home together.

After the lantern lighting ceremony ended, Chensan and his family went to the Tianhou Temple to pay respects. On the way home, the moon hung high in the sky, bathing the ancient walled village in an unusually peaceful glow. For the first time, Chensan developed a deep fondness for the traditional culture of his hometown. As Chensan grew older, he began to learn more about the history and culture of Longxue Head. From the village head and other elders, he heard the origins of the walled village, shrine halls, and Tianhou Temple. Edwards stayed in the area and attempted to start a rebellion. On December 21, 1826, Edwards and his supporters claimed part of East Texas free and independent of Mexico. They named it the Republic of Fredonia. They even had support of the Cherokee in the area. However, most Anglo settlers in Texas did not support Haden’s rebellion. When a group of men from Austin’s colony joined with Mexican soldiers to march on Fredonia, Haden and his brother fled to the United States. The unrest caused Mexican leaders to rethink their immigration policies.
