World Standards Day (or International Standards Day) is an international day celebrated on 14 October each year.[1] The day honours the efforts of the thousands of experts who develop voluntary standards within standards development organizations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME),[2] International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). The aim of World Standards Day is to raise awareness among regulators, industry and consumers as to the importance of standardization to the global economy. Ben is Sarah's father. Ben explains to Sarah what standards are, Ben is an accountant so standards are very important in his work, he talks about his work, but also gives many other examples, e.g. in construction, in education, etc.

Help me write a children’s book age 5-8 yrs this is a sequel to a previous book. Main character is Winston, a border collie dog. He is a dog that lives on a ranch helping his family take care of animals. The main animals in the story should be highland cows, horses, and chickens. Winston’s owner farmer Ben is cutting and baling hay for the animals to eat during the winter when a disaster happens and farmer Ben gets into trouble, his baler catches fire and farmer Ben relies on Winston to run to the volunteer fire department to get help. The fire burns down the hay field, but Winston saves the day. The story should relay a message about feeling scared but having to be brave.

Zeke is afraid of the dark and sleeping by himself in his bedroom. Mom kisses him goodnight but Zeke is too scared to let her leave. She says hold on and returns with a gem. She says it's a magical dream gem and if kisses it, closes his eyes, and whispers what he wants to see in his dreams, then it will take him them there. She tucks him in and leaves his room. Zeke hides under his blanket and whispers "dragon" to the gem. He closes his eyes and when he opens them he is surprised to find himself in a cave. He doesn't feel like himself. He looks down and sees that he has transformed into a mighty dragon. He goes on a fun adventure before seeing the magical gem on top of a pile of treasure. He says goodbye to his new friends and grabs the gem. He closes his eyes again and when he opens them, he is back in bed waking up to a new day. He is no longer afraid of the dark and going to sleep as he is excited for what adventures are in store for him when he goes to sleep with his magical gem.
