The Worried Little Girl
The best Christmas ever the night that Santa called me
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Cat. She was about seven years old and she was spending Christmas at her grandparents' house, which was far away from her own home. Cat was worried that Santa wouldn't find her at her grandparents' house.
1
It was Christmas Eve, and Cat was having a hard time falling asleep. She tossed and turned, feeling anxious that Santa might not be able to find her. Her mom came into her room to comfort her, but Cat couldn't stop crying. She really wanted Santa to find her so he could leave presents under the tree.
2
Just then, Cat's grandpa came into her room. He had a kind smile and a reassuring voice. He told Cat not to worry, because he knew that Santa would be able to find her. He promised her that everything would be okay, and encouraged her to settle into bed and try to sleep.

Cat lay in bed, her mind filled with thoughts of Santa and Christmas. It felt like hours had passed, but it had only been about 10 minutes when she heard the phone ring. Her grandpa rushed into her room and said, 'Cat, come quickly! The phone call is for you.' Cat was confused. Who could be calling her on Christmas Eve?
4
Cat hurried to the phone and to her amazement, she heard magical bells on the line. She couldn't believe her ears. It was Santa Claus! She exclaimed, 'Santa, is it really you?' Santa replied with a hearty 'Ho ho ho' and assured her that he knew exactly where to find her.
5
Cat was overjoyed to be speaking to Santa. She told him about her worries and how she wanted him to find her at her grandparents' house. Santa listened kindly and promised Cat that he would make sure to visit her and leave wonderful presents under the tree.
6
The next morning, Cat woke up to the most magical Christmas she had ever experienced. There were presents galore under the tree, and a special note from Santa. It was a Christmas she would never forget, all thanks to the night that Santa called her.
7
And so, Cat's worries had vanished, and she had the best Christmas ever. She learned that sometimes, magical things can happen when you least expect them. From that day on, Cat always believed in the wonder of Christmas and the joy of Santa's love.
