May and the Rainbow Plate
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named May who loved to play all day long. One sunny morning, May was so excited to play outside that she forgot to eat her breakfast. Her tummy started to rumble, but she was too busy to notice. Suddenly, she felt tired and had to sit down. May realized she needed energy to have fun.

May's mom noticed she was feeling tired and brought out a magic picnic basket. The basket was filled with colorful fruits and vegetables. May was curious and asked her mom why the food was so colorful. Her mom explained that each color gives her body different kinds of energy. May was eager to try the rainbow of foods!

As May picked up a red apple, it spoke to her! 'Hello, May! I am full of vitamins to keep you strong,' said the apple. Then, a cheerful carrot waved and said, 'I help you see better!' May giggled and tried each colorful food. She met a brave broccoli, a sweet banana, and a juicy blueberry, each with their own special powers.

After eating the rainbow plate, May felt full of energy again. She ran around, playing and laughing with her friends. May promised to always eat a colorful plate to stay healthy and strong. She learned that eating the rainbow is fun and helpful. From that day on, May never forgot her breakfast again!
