The New School
Kendall and the Bully
Kendall and his little brother Mack were starting at a new school. They were both a little nervous, but Kendall promised to look out for Mack. They walked through the school gates together, ready for the first day.

During recess, Kendall and Mack met a boy named David. He was shy and didn't have anyone to play with. Kendall invited David to join them, and soon they were all laughing and playing together. Kendall was happy to see Mack having fun.
2
One day, a boy named Tyler started picking on Mack. He called Mack names and made fun of him because he was different. Kendall felt angry and sad, but he knew he had to stand up for his brother.

Kendall told Tyler to stop being mean, but Tyler just laughed. Kendall remembered what his mom had said about standing up for others. He took a deep breath and told the teacher what was happening.

The teacher listened to Kendall and took Tyler aside to talk. Kendall sat with Mack and explained that some people don't understand differences, but it's important to stand up for what's right. Mack hugged Kendall and said he was proud to have him as a brother.

After the talk with the teacher, Tyler seemed different. He came up to Mack and apologized for being mean. He even asked if he could join in their game. Kendall and David looked at each other, surprised but happy.
6
From that day on, Tyler became friends with Kendall, Mack, and David. They all played together and Tyler learned that being kind is better than being mean. Kendall was glad that things had changed for the better.
7
Kendall and Mack walked out of school, hand in hand. They knew that standing up for each other and being kind had made a big difference. They smiled at each other, happy to have each other as brothers and friends.
