Hazel's Big Dream
Hazel the Hippo's Ballet Dream
In a lush green meadow, by a sparkling blue stream,
Lived Hazel the hippo, with a big, lofty dream.
She twirled and she spun, on her toes oh so neat,
With a passion for ballet, she had the world at her feet.

One sunny morning, Hazel gathered all her courage and waddled over to the clearing where the animals held their gatherings. She asked the wise old owl if he knew of anyone who could teach her ballet. The owl, with a twinkle in his eye, told her about Ms. Lily, a kind and patient flamingo who taught ballet to all the young animals in the jungle. Without wasting a moment, Hazel set off to find Ms. Lily's ballet class.

At the ballet class, Hazel was nervous but excited. Ms. Lily welcomed her with a warm smile and introduced her to the other young dancers - a zebra, a giraffe, and a monkey. As the music began to play, Hazel tried to follow the graceful movements of the other animals. She stumbled and wobbled, but Ms. Lily encouraged her to keep trying. 'Practice makes perfect,' she said. Hazel felt determined to keep practicing and learning.

Months passed, and Hazel practiced every day, never giving up on her dream. Finally, the day of the grand jungle performance arrived. All the animals gathered to watch the young dancers showcase their talents. When it was Hazel's turn, she stepped onto the stage in her beautiful pink tutu. As the music filled the air, Hazel danced with all her heart, twirling and leaping with grace. The audience cheered and clapped, and Hazel knew that she had become the ballet star of her dreams.
