The Big News
Griffin Is Going to be a Big Brother
Mimi and Papa sat with Griffin and his mommy and daddy. They had news to share that was sure to make Griffin smile.
"You're going to be a big brother real soon!" they said. "You are going to have a new baby brother!"
Griffin clapped his hands. He was so excited imagining all the fun he would have with his new baby brother. He thought of games that they could play, and all the adventures they would have every day.
1
"I'll teach him how to play with blocks," Griffin said, "and we will play cars together."
Griffin thought of adventures they would share. "We'll explore the forest when we're outside, and we will even find a place to hide!"
He thought of racing cars together through the house, and building castles and so much more.
"I'll show him how to ride a bike, and how to catch a ball!" Griffin's heart was full of joy. He couldn't wait to meet his baby brother.
2
Mommy and daddy had to get the baby's room ready. They had to plan a theme for his new baby brother. Griffin helped with colors and paint. He helped his dad get everything ready. They decorated with animals and a jungle theme. They moved Griffin's crib into the room for his baby brother. "This room will be our special place, where we can dream and laugh and explore." Griffin imagined bedtime stories, of knights, dragons, and magical glories.

Mimi and Papa told Griffin that he was going to be the best big brother. "What do I have to do to be a good big brother?" Griffin asked.
Papa said, "Sharing is key. When you teach your little brother all of the things that you have learned, it will help him be a good boy too."
Griffin nodded and said, "I'll share my toys, and my crayons too. I'll share my cars and even my broccoli!"
Griffin felt proud that he was ready to start sharing with love from his heart.
4
Griffin ran to his room and looked through all of his special things. He wanted to give his baby brother a gift, something special, to let him know how much he loved him.
He found a soft blanket perfect for cuddling through the night. "This will keep my brother warm," he thought, as he wrapped it with care.
Mimi smiled and gave Griffin a hug, "It's perfect," she said.
Griffin's face lit up with the biggest smile. He was filled with joy and pride.

Weeks went by. Days went by. Griffin waited, and waited for his brother's arrival.
He made sure to kiss his mommy's belly so that his brother would know he is loved.
"When will my baby brother get here?" Griffin asked. "Soon," said Mimi smiling, "you'll meet your brother in a little while."
Griffin waited with patience. He kept imagining the fun it would be. "We'll be a team," he said "my brother and I. We will be the best team ever."
6
One bright morning, when Griffin woke up, his mommy and daddy were not at home. Mimi explained to Griffin that it was time for the baby to be born.
When the call finally came, Papa told Griffin, "Your brother is here, waiting for you!"
Griffin jumped with joy. He was excited and ready to meet his brother that night.
Papa and Mimi took him to see his new baby brother.
Griffin peeked into the crib and saw the baby lying there. "Hello, little brother," Griffin said, "I'm your big brother!"
7
Griffin held his brother's tiny hand, feeling a bond he could understand. "We'll have adventures, just wait and see, you'll learn and grow right next to me." The baby gurgled and gave a smile, Griffin knew they'd be friends all the while. Mimi and Papa watched with pride, as Griffin stood by his brother's side. Love filled the room like a gentle breeze, bringing warmth and joy with ease.

Life with a baby was a new start, with routines that warmed Griffin's heart. He helped Mimi with gentle care, rocking the baby in a cozy chair. "I'll sing him a lullaby," Griffin said, as he tucked the baby into bed. Papa taught him how to change a diaper, and Griffin giggled, feeling hyper. "Being a big brother is fun," he thought, as he learned new things and never forgot.

As days went by, they learned to play, Griffin and his brother, day by day. "I'll teach you to stack the blocks," Griffin said, "and how to put on your socks." The baby laughed and reached out wide, mimicking Griffin with joy and pride. They shared giggles and silly faces, creating memories in special places. Griffin knew they'd be a team, living out their dreams like a gleam.
10
Their friendship grew with each passing day, in laughter, in games, and in play. Griffin loved his brother so dear, and the baby loved having him near. They explored the garden, side by side, finding treasures with eyes open wide. "This is just the start," Griffin said, "of all the adventures that lie ahead." Together they discovered the world anew, with love and joy that only grew.

Papa, Mimi, Griffin, and baby too, a happy family, strong and true. They shared their days with love and care, creating memories beyond compare. "Being a big brother is the best," Griffin thought, feeling blessed. With each new day, their bond grew tight, filling their hearts with warmth and light. And so their story continued on, with love and laughter, from dusk till dawn.
