The Big Idea

Building a legocastle with scrum

Lovisa, Niklas, Rachel, and Elicia wanted to build the biggest LEGO castle ever. They had lots of LEGO pieces but didn't know where to start. Elicia suggested they use a method she learned called Scrum. Everyone was curious and excited to try it out. They gathered around the table and started planning.

Elicia explained that in Scrum, they needed to make a list of all the things they wanted in their castle. Lovisa wanted a tall tower, Niklas wanted a drawbridge, Rachel wanted a garden, and Elicia wanted a grand hall. They wrote down all their ideas on a big piece of paper. Then, they decided which part to build first.

Elicia told them that in Scrum, they work in short bursts called sprints. They decided to build the tower first. Everyone worked together for a little while, then took a break to see how it was going. They were happy with their progress and moved on to the drawbridge next.

After a few sprints, the LEGO castle was almost done. They added the garden and the grand hall. The friends were so proud of their work. They celebrated by having a pretend feast inside their castle. Using Scrum had helped them build the biggest and best LEGO castle ever!
