Buddhism for children

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a boy named Siddhartha. He lived in a grand palace with his family. Siddhartha had everything he could ever want. But he was curious about the world outside the palace. Little did he know, his curiosity would lead him on a great adventure.
1
One day, Siddhartha decided to leave the palace and see the world. He saw people who were sad and sick. This made him wonder why people suffer. He wanted to find a way to help everyone be happy. So, he began his quest to find answers.
2
After many years of searching, Siddhartha sat under a great tree. He thought deeply about everything he had learned. Suddenly, he understood how to end suffering. This moment was called Enlightenment. From then on, he was known as the Buddha.
3
The Buddha learned four important things. First, life has suffering. Second, suffering comes from wanting things. Third, we can stop suffering. Fourth, we can follow a special path to be happy. These were called the Four Noble Truths.
4
The special path was called the Eightfold Path. It had eight steps to follow. The steps were about being kind, wise, and mindful. By following these steps, people could find peace. The path was like a map to happiness.
5
The Buddha taught that by following the Eightfold Path, people could reach Nirvana. Nirvana was a state of true happiness and peace. It was like a perfect place inside your heart. Everyone could reach Nirvana if they tried. It was the ultimate goal of Buddhism.
6
Buddhists follow something called the Three Jewels. The first jewel is the Buddha, who showed the way. The second is the Dharma, which are his teachings. The third is the Sangha, the community of followers. Together, they help people on their journey.
7
Buddhism began to spread to many lands. People found peace and happiness in the teachings. The Buddha's ideas helped people live better lives. Communities grew and shared kindness. Buddhism became a light in the world.
