The Lonely Tree

Bear and Lonley tree

In a forest so green, stood a tree so tall. No one knew it had a face, hidden from all. It was lonely and sad, with no friends around. Just the wind and the leaves making a soft sound.
1
Nearby lived a bear, with a frown so deep. He sighed and he mumbled, even in his sleep. He had no friends to play, no one to share. His days were long, filled with despair.
2
One sunny day, the bear wandered near. He saw the tall tree and felt something clear. He sat by its trunk, feeling a bit shy. The tree whispered softly, 'Hello, little guy.'
3
'Did you just speak?' asked the bear, quite surprised. 'Yes,' said the tree, with a smile in its eyes. 'I'm lonely,' said Bear, 'and I see you are too.' 'Let's be friends,' said the tree, 'just me and you.'
4
Mr. Squirrel came by. He saw Bear and Tree. 'What a funny pair!' he said with a grin. 'May I join your friendship? Can I come in?'
5
Bear, Tree, and Mr. Squirrel laughed and played. They shared stories and games, in the sun and the shade. Their friendship grew stronger with each passing day. They were happy together, in every way.
6
The forest seemed brighter with their cheerful song. Other animals joined, and they all got along. No one was lonely, not Bear, Tree, or Squirrel. They made the forest a happier world.
7
Bear was no longer sad, and Tree felt alive. Mr. Squirrel was happy, with friends by his side. They promised each other, their friendship would last. They'd cherish these moments, from future to past.
